Presidential Immmunity

I see none of you wordsmiths took the challenge! I supposed there was some concern that I didn’t post in the Rose Garden thread. It perhaps made some folks nervous, suspecting a trap of some sort? Or, perhaps, you flunked the test?

Anyhow, Jamie and I had a good conversation for going for awhile, until TDS took over predictably.

Oh, BTW  @tjohn, when John Wayne called folks “hombres” he was calling them men in Spanish — it is not a slur. It could be taken ominously, however, if Wayne was holding a six-shooter!

I'm sure this fact is not in your brain, but John Wayne was pretty racist, so I wouldn't be pulling him out to make arguments about not being racist.

Anyway, tjohn was talking about Trump using the word.  And when he said it, yeah, his racist flag was flying.

And of all of the tiresome tics in your posting habits, absolutely the most tiresome is saying TDS. I guess you think it triggers us or something. It doesn't. It just reminds us how terribly sad Republicans are these days.

How would you know who took it?

"Bad men" is not slur? Hillary Clinton said that some of Trump's supporters were racist, sexist and homophobic and you considered that a slur against you. Can't think why.

Here’s a challenge.

Name a movie in which the Duke called folks “hombres.”
