The fact that many now turn to Facebook and other social media for their news is part of the problem. The erosion of the Fourth Estate proves its importance in keeping a democracy running.
I'll rephrase and try again. If the problem on May 23, 2024 is a deluded electorate, how and why was the electorate apparently non-deluded in 2020-21, and what was the inflection point?
Racking my brain for inflection points in 2020. All I can come up with are a pandemic and the murder of a Black man by a white Minneapolis police officer.
Am confused by so many "conservative" commentators saying that they haven't seen or heard what the underlying crime that bumps it up to a felony. What am I missing isn't it conspiracy to block the publication of the story?
There’s also a thread on Tucker Carlson started by your buddy pal.. have fun. But the trial commentary has been overlapping into a couple other threads.
That WSJ article is really about what Trump would do in a similar situation. It isn't about what the Democrats might do.
Having said that the Biden campaign should tout his many achievements and not run on Trump's character. If somebody doesn't think that Trump's character is disqualifying, there is nothing that Democrat's might say that will convince them otherwise.
