The gluten-free scam

Did you ever eat a bowl of cereal and do nothing else but concentrate on eating. No reading, no Facebook, no music, no thoughts going to what you have to do that day/what happened the day before?. It's nearly impossible, because eating cereal is such a boring task, you look for something to take your mind from it, but try it. It's an interesting experiment.

The Muddied Meaning of ‘Mindfulness’

Sure, "mindfulness" might be a buzzword but it also has its place for sure. My sister-in-law is a school psychologist and has seen real benefit in her kids when she practices mindfulness exercises with them. Child yoga/mindfulness may seem really woo but it can really be a benefit in the classroom. I wish I could get my son to "sit still like a frog" more regularly!!
