Silly dogs! Silly Cats! Let's see yours!
Thank you, Calliope. Rachel came from the JAC where she was labelled as unable to be with other dogs. It didn't take all that much time to calm down, and then she wanted a pal. She was used to having lots of dogs around her. She asked for Jake. Whenever we went on walks, she would pull to get close to other dogs, but I was reluctant, because of what the JAC has said. So I decided to get her her own dog that I could trust her with to play. Enter Jake from the ACC in Brooklyn. He's not cuddly with her, but she adores him. They are always together, and now when they are with other dogs, such as this weekend when we went on a doggy hike to Jockey Hollow, they just wanted to be together.
So glad it worked out for you! It usually does, when you find the right dog
