Morgan Le Fay Cat Rescue - Vampire Cats. The legend lives on.

John Snow is 11 weeks old and has had 2 distemper shots, Revolution and 2 doses of Nemex. Ready for his new home and very affectionate. He would may a striking companion with his sister Sansa who is a serious contender for the throne. I think she has a touch of the tiger in her.

Wow! What a gorgeous pair they are!!

Morganna - three kittens, approx 6 weeks old, showed up on the porch of someone in your neighborhood. Do you know who might be able to take them? I am willing to trap.

OK new photos! John Snow, with the extra toes!

He makes me want another kitty, but I already have two and I am allergic!  tongue rolleye

If someone can foster, I can put them on Petfinder and  then they can come to Petco on Saturdays as soon as they are 8 weeks.

Or, they can got to People for Animals, our new sponsor, if there is no foster available!

I trapped two at the SO Recycling about six years ago, and they had six toes, too!!

Thank you!

Come and meet John Snow and Sansa tonight!

I so wish we could. But then again, five or six cats is beyond even our brand of crazy.  smile

I kind of thought I could lure you back with our Game of Thrones monikers. We had several people eyeing them but we haven't found the right adopters just yet. So looks like more adoption events for me.

Bummer. Sansa is so beautiful I thought she would go really fast. And the names ARE very tempting to me.  smile

John Snow is getting a test drive! A 2 week trial foster to adopt. My rescue pal who found them is now left with Sansa, his favorite, who will vacation for her own 2 weeks with his family in PA. Now stay tuned to see the outcome!

Ooo. Paws crossed that both arrangements work out!

Update! Last minute someone who had looked at them at Petco, emailed and wanted to try them both! So quick change of plans and they are now being fussed over by 3 roommates in the heart of NYC. (We deliver out of town PeggyC, just in case you are interested in that information!)

Hah! I wish, but we are definitely fully stocked with cats. I would not survive the effort to introduce another.  downer

and we provide counseling!

If I thought I had a shot I would be all over Sansa, but even I know when I have hit the limit. And litter box duty for four is not my idea of a good time, either. *sigh*

Here we go again! Fosters needed! One for affectionate and beautiful Sophia, whose foster fell through. She was supposed to go to a rescue with her kittens but got left behind! She needs to wait 2 weeks for her spay appointment and then recover. By then I will have either found her a home or she can be returned to her colony. Short foster longer foster, your choice. She is so angelic she even sits on your lap and looks adoringly into your eyes, (even during her manicure!) All food and litter will be supplied. Even the 2 weeks waiting for her spay would be a huge help.

Another foster or adopt opportunity. This little boy is waiting for his eyelid lift! Strawberry Fields and Ruby Tuesday will have their 2nd shots on Monday and have tested negative for FIV/FELV. They are litterbox trained and absolutely more fun than a caboodle of kittens. They will happily sing to old Beatles songs or rock out to the Stones with you and your family! They can go to adoption days with me on Saturdays and are up on Petfinder and of course here on MOL! Your choice as to the length of foster time. All litter and food will be supplied.

Happy to report that Sophia was adopted today! Have a happy life beautiful girl.

Introducing Luna a dog loving cat! We just pulled her from a high kill shelter when a plea went out for adopters or rescues. She is enjoying her new found freedom after months in a cage and is ready for a home of her own. She will be interviewing doggie roommates. Of course if you can't bear sharing her with a canine, she will happily snuggle next to you and soak up all your attention.

Meet Cinderella and Alice in Wonderland! They are happy to perch on your shoulder while you sip your morning coffee or hop onto your lap and cuddle. They are 6 month old long legged slender girls just like their gorgeous mom Sofia of the almond shaped eyes.

Both girls were completely relaxed and curious at their first adoption night. At home they are frisky and playful. Come meet Cindy and Aly at Petco West Orange on Saturday or PM me for a visit.

From Robert Roe:   On Saturday Oct. 7th St. Hubert's Animal Welfare will be providing free rabies vaccinations at the parking lot at the intersection of Tuscan Road and Springfield Ave.   This is for residents from any town.  The time 12 noon to 4:00pm.

This is part of the Maplewood Health and Harvest fest.   So come by after you get your pet vaccinated to get a flu shot from Walgreen's, DNA testing for bone marrow match, our really good healthy cooking contest run by the YMCA and other health and Springfield Ae. businesses.

Mr Roe - You mentioned getting a flu shot from Walgreen's. Does that mean the town is not going to give flu shots this year?

The Township finally got our flu vaccine delivered today.  We will be setting up two dates, one weekday and one weekend.   Walgreen's has graciously agreed to do flu shots the Health and Harvest Fest.   So, you can go to your own physician, go to a pharmacy, or come to the Township flu clinics.   Whichever way works best for you, but we strongly advise most people and require children in day care centers to get flu vaccination.

Thank you for your response.

A big thank you to St. Hubert's and to you Bob for always supporting our animals!
