Looks like the eclipse is gonna be a bust. Rain or cloud cover or partial cover is predicted for the entire path.

Watched with friends at Millburn library, glasses included.  Made it to approximately 90% of totality.  Then clouds rolled in so it looked like totality and stayed that way.  Quite an experience.

Out by Rutgers, view obscured mostly by clouds.  In the beginning and end, through protective glasses could see a smile from the sun peeking through the moon and and wisps.  But the weather got colder, the birds were out in force, the sky approached twilight.  Next total eclipse here on August 12, 2045.  Put it on your calendar!

Here in West Orange--about a quarter mile from South Orange, it was great sitting in our backyard in gravity chairs watching it reach near totality. As Joan said, then the clouds rolled in and so we only saw a bit of the the moon moving away. It was very cool.

I went west into Pa. to be nearer the totality.

Bad decision. Clouds came in. Oh well, At least I got to the total eclipse in '17.
