Wrong thread????

Nah, the 'Rabbott's remarks on independence. Idiot that he is.

Oh, I thought the reference was to a similar part of the world in Boticelli.

Meantime, there's http://www.theage.com.au/federal-politics/political-news/abc-to-shift-focus-away-from-older-audience-as-part-of-programming-review-20140816-3dtio.html

We're hearing "October" for a major announcement. The comment has been ... 'you reckon RA was bad, wait for the next instalment'.

I'm there until the end of September, at this stage.

Sigh. Again. question
Having read that article, doesn't say much for those folk now living longer , home during the day AND most loyal to Aunty.
Plus previous 'reviews' this year said Aunty didn't need digital resources (!) nor an online presence... #-O

Yet the MD has said that digital media is the way of the future and calls radio and TV 'legacy media'.
(I could say a lot more, but this site is too public)

Yeah, he said it after the ex-competitor in charge of the review came out with the so-called productivity recommendations a coupla months back.

That was the review that recommended outsourcing everything and pretty basically working from Melbourne and Sydney. When Aunty is the emergency rural network... Um, yeah.

I’ve decided I might as well sell my vacuum cleaner. It’s only gathering dust.

Snort.
What will the mrs say about that???

And an Aussie scientist quoted in the article, too. Nice.

I had some old wine in my collection - perhaps not as old as the Israeli discoveries, but I reckon it tasted like some of those they found. It was that bad I didn't even cook with it!

You gotta watch Unicorn City.

Not tonight, dear, I have a bad ....

With no further comment, I present some news from the world of sciencific research:

I'm not a Dr Who fan, despite working near a tardis all day, but this piqued my interest;

Another egg joke! :-D

It kept stopping, so I hope all the jokes translate... the Pink Pages comment at the beginning is a reference to the White Pages phone books (old books used as toilet paper by some super-frugal folk)

Ha!

Cellphones are the latest weapon in the fight against pain.
