OK @ginpeace you now have the only orange left. We found an adopter for the one being fostered by @bigben, and it was not the person who was originally interested. So for those thinking about it, grab that little orange kitty! They come up infrequently and usually go quickly so don't miss the opportunity.

Kitties are doing well. They went to the vets. They are in separate crates which they are really tired of. They want to get out and run around and play. Autumn purrs when you pet her. Both of them have been playing and will let us hold them. We still need to be slow and gentle but they are coming around. Below is Honey. He is really ready to get out of the crate and explore. Wish I could get a better picture. Autumn, the little hunter, is playing with a string.

This is little Abby-sister to Honey and Autumn. I spent a few hours with her yesterday. She came in feral and afraid. When I left her she had fallen asleep upside down and purring. She is ready to be adopted in a quiet and patient home. She told me some of her secrets-- one of which is she loves belly rubs. Once she trusts you Abby turns into a demander-of-belly-rubs and a cuddle bug. She should be an awesome house cat for some lucky person.

Happy to report another adoption! I found a great home for Joie the little female tux shown above. Great family from out of the area.

Not to worry if you had your heart set on a tux, I still have in foster the little brother and sister.

Kitties now come out of the crate to eat. Autumn came out tonight and ate and played near the crate. She scurries back in if there is a noise or we move quickly. Honey is still cautious and very mellow as you can see in the picture but he came out to eat and had some pets. Please spread the word that these darlings are growing fast and need a real home.

I unfortunately can't foster at he moment, but I have a bunch of baby blankets I'd love to go to a good cause. Is that something you guys could use? If so, please pm me and let me know where I could drop them off. oh oh

YES!!! Please!!!--donations are accepted at Puppy Love located 1835 Springfield Ave Maplewood, NJ 07040

Thank you!

That calico is killing me. I have such a weakness for calicos and grey tabbies, and she is both!

Here is another educational piece for fosters of orphaned kittens: yeah, it's your job.

Autumn the calico above has been adopted. Yeaaa. Honey the tabby is going to meet his new family tomorrow. oh oh

And the last slightly hissy tabby and white kitten sibling to the other 3 got a home last night! Thanks to the quick work of @bigben.

That's little Abby! Abby warms up to people. She will stop hissing in a day or so.
I was helping with her trust issues, and she loved being pet, and esp. her belly rubbed. Once she trusted me, she purred, and allowed me to pick her up and carry her. She will be an awesome house kitty to her new owner.

A shout out to ginpeace for being an awesome foster mom!!! I met Autumn's new family today---what a lucky kitty! What a lucky family!

This weekend I had the pleasure of spending quality time with Georgie. Georgie has been with Furry Hearts for several months, and really deserves a home of her own.

I got tons of cuddles and kisses and OOOooohhh.... is she soft to touch.

Are looking for a love bug? Georgie is your girl. She is spayed and UTD on all her shots.

If you're not sure, you can always foster-to-adopt her and you will see what a wonderful kitty she is.

Fingers crossed, may have someone interested in her or Virginia!

Both kitties are super!

Georgia's face .... just adorable!

Honey is still with us. He is getting use to people and goes in and out of his crate exploring the area. Hope some lucky family gets to enjoy him in all his kitty cuteness.

Honey is such a pretty kitty!

Jeanneh, - is Georgie still available?

Yes she is. You can visit her at Puppy Love on Springfeild Ave.

Volunteers needed to socialize kittens!

You can be a foster in your own home, or you can sign up to volunteer at Puppy Love. That's what I do! I go to Puppy Love and pet, and play with the kitties. I put in 1 -2 hours each Saturday and Sunday, and I love it!

If you prefer dogs--they have a few of those you could walk and play with too.

Contact Lisa at Puppy Love if you'd like some kitten love, or dog love.

I spent the afternoon with Virginia. She's a petite sweet sweet kitty. She really deserves the best home.
She was purring and head butting. She's such a delight. If you know anyone who would be a loving mom or dad to Viriginia please send them to meet her at Puppy Love on Springfield Ave., Maplewood.

Adopted!

Little Georgie is also super sweet and cuddly. It's time she finds a home where she can love and be loved.
