New question. Linux Mint is running just fine. But I'm trying to use a logitech webcam with it. The cam connects fine and is usable, but I haven't been able to find the Linux equivalent of the Logitech Webcam Controller software, which lets you zoom and pan.
I've looked around a lot on google and can't find anything. Can't imagine that this hasn't been done.
Anyone have any clue on this?

well, not telnet, but ssh. I'm on the unix command line a lot.
OK, that's a relief. "> I guess you used the term figuratively.
yeah, everyone here at work still says telnet. I wish they wouldn't, but I just give in.

Maybe here?

looks like that's just the driver software, probably written in the days before support pretty much came built-in. still looking for zoom and pan functionality.
