Why would you do this? I’m kind of from the perspective that shorts are already worn too frequently in the US. Why extend it?
I don't mind wearing shorts but one of my goals in life is to avoid places where you HAVE to wear shorts. Ideally, I would live somewhere where it is cool enough to wear pants year round. Have not quite managed that yet.....

One of the women in my stand-up paddleboard class is going paddleboarding in Antarctica next month. The way the world is going, Klinker, I’m not sure if your dream will come true...
I used to wear shorts year round. Even went to a conference in Milwaukee in late November, tromping thru the snow in shorts. My mom used to warm her hands OVER my arm from the heat that was radiating.
I have a picture of me shoveling snow in my shorts, T-shirt, & boots at night. Because I’m a very kind person, I WON’T post it.
Ever since losing 100+ pounds, now I’m cold ALL the time. My brain still hasn’t adjusted. Sigh...

Yes! That picture of you shoveling snow was kind of an inspiration to me. It's on MOL somewhere.

And you (& Junie) meeting with me that day at the Parkwood helped bolster my courage to go thru with the surgery. While I had some unfortunate (and rare) medical complications, it’s absolutely the best decision I’ve made in my life.

I'm so glad it worked out for you.

You wouldn't have much choice. Hot and humid every frakking day. Florida is just like Hell but with more snakes.
Of course, in a hundred years, most of it will be under water. I wonder whether there is some way to make money short selling Florida Realestate?
Just move to MOL’s Australia Annex
Marksierra has 14degreesC today, that’s around 57-58 degrees.
i have 30-31 degrees, that’s 86-87 degrees but I’ve got no humidity and smoky air.

Meta: When you tapped on my shoulder (I think it may have been at an event at OLS), I turned around and couldn't even recognize you. Glad to have played a role in your going forward with your surgery. And my hat is off to you re: what you made of it. Just an amazing transformation! Cheers to you for the changes you made in your life!
I can go to about 20 degrees, maybe upper teens.
