It'll be worse if Pats turn it around and win. It's definitely one of those throwback plodding SBs.
Redeemed by Pats not winning and victory for Sam, the classiest of the recent Jets QBs who had the misfortune of being drafted by them. He never complained or whined while on the Jets.
So many games leading up to the bowl were great! Tonight was a bit lame in comparison.
And two different half time shows made it even more disappointing. It felt empty. I understand Spanish very well, but couldn’t figure out what Benito was mumbling. The message was clear, but the mumbling in Spanglish was just not my thing.
I guess if anything, we can all agree just how divided this country is right now. One side doing their utmost to piss off the other side. Both shows were horrible, but picking one side just because it pisses off the other side you hate is not a good thing. People need to grow up and stop being so mean and vindictive. It’s leading us down a terrible path.

You watched both half-time shows?
I find everything about the SB to be overwrought, from the commercials to the half time show to the excessive patriotism BS, and prefer to just watch the game.

At this point it can't regress towards the mean of its audience much further, but also this is a mirror on our culture at this point and it looks ugly.

The game has become the sideshow.
The game was meh but I wanted Seattle to win, so that was fun. The HT show was not my type of music but the message and the theatrics and the staging were the best ever. And Trump’s head exploded.
All in all, I kinda loved the SB.
I enjoyed the game and won the pool for the halftime score. The half time show was well done, but obviously aimed at the audience they are trying to attract, and not the old white guys who already watch.

It's certainly possible via YouTube. I watched all of the real one and some of the MAGA one just so I could have both perspectives. You didn't have to understand the Spanish to get the point and I liked that one. (I do know some Spanish but it's hard enough to understand song lyrics in one's native language. I would love to have had English subtitles as I typically do for movies and shows in English anyway.)

Looks like a junior high game… combined with the worse half time show…ughh
