Why indeed? Is she still wondering? Has she, by now, figured it out?

She was a Trump supporter, having voted for Trump. Now she's getting her reward, a screwing.

I have to admire her grit, to have stuck over the years. I feel bad for her but not too sorry. Its Trump voters like her who helped get us into this mess.

Sheila Hobson never imagined the lawsuit she filed seven years ago about some unpaid overtime would one day become a Supreme Court case with far-reaching implications for American workers.

But two days ago, on the eve of oral arguments, she came in for an ever bigger shock — the U.S. government, her biggest champion, had suddenly switched sides.

Instead of fighting for Hobson and workers like her, the government is now fighting against them.

“Oh, my word,” Hobson said when the Daily News contacted her Thursday with news of the switch. “Why would they do that?”

yeah. She's not very bright.  

People make decisions emotionally and then find reasons to back it up.  And ignore what they don't want to hear since they are functioning emotionally. For what it is worth,we all do to some extent.  Sales, especially discretionary sales - jewelry, paintings, high end cars - are based on this.  (My mother was a very successful painting dealer).  Should we vet our politicians more rationally?  Yes, but we don't.

So are reported in the NYTimes and  elsewhere, so farmers all over went all out for Trump hearing he would get rid of regulations (check), and repeal and replace ACA (he tried and is trying), and stop illegal immigration (he really wasn't serious about that, now was he?)  So as now the Mexican's who pick crops aren't coming, and there are limited or no (temporary dairy workers) way to bring them legally, they are aghast.

Many here feel vindicated by the election, and signs declaring “Vote to make America great again” still dot the highways. But in conversations with nearly a dozen farmers, most of whom voted for Mr. Trump, each acknowledged that they relied on workers who provided false documents. 

Make America Great "patriots" heavily voting for Trump while openly hiring illegals.

It appears that a great many do not understand that Republicans are generally pro-management on issues like this. It is, of course, the fault of the Democratic Party for not teaching citizens this basic difference between the Parties.
