Why can't you get Beatles tunes on YouTube anymore?

You can get BBC stuff and cover songs, but not the originals.

Apparently UMG, which bought that part of EMI in 2012, decided to block the Beatles from YouTube a year ago.

I've been able to catch an occasional video like "We Can Work It Out" but not individual songs. For instance, last night I checked for "I'm Only Sleeping" and was tricked into this:

To make matters worse, I uploaded an adorable video of my 3 year old singing and dancing along to Yellow Submarine playing on the radio which Youtube eventually removed the sound from. People are no fun.
