Trump coming to Wildwood on Jan 28

Put on your protest shoes!

He knows what he's doing. He's appearing someplace as far from where most of NJ's Democrats live as he can.

But he's appearing in the only part of South Jersey that most North Jersey people know how to get to.

You can order tickets for the rally. Show up inside with quiet protest ( signs, etc.)

I might show up to protest outside. Not sure if I have the cajones to go inside.

Too much crazy for me.

It's South Jersey, so not only will the crowd be Trump fans, but they'll also be Eagles fans.

That's a bad combination.

I am pleased to say that I just signed up for two tickets.   And I also signed up for the optional victory leadership training.

Sbenois, if you bought one of those tickets for me, unfortunately I'll be in the Bahamas. cheese

A work colleague lives about 2 miles from the Wildwood Convention Center. He got a cold call offering him $5,000 to rent his house for three days. He turned it down, sensibly I think. It's their primary residence and I can't imagine letting people live in my home for three days.

It would cost at least $5000 to sanitize the place after it had been infested with Trumpkins.

AND to schedule it for Wildwood(!) of all places when there are so few roads for the maddened throng of adherents to get there. This sounds like a complete nightmare in every sense of the word:

Klinker, please give further details regarding the $5000 that you anticipate needed for sanitization due to infestation by Trumpkins (who are also your fellow citizens and residents).

It could be journalists who couldn't find other accommodation or antifa members staging a protest.

It could be people who love the Jersey Shore in winter.

At $5K for 3 nights during the Trump rally?

Moral decay leaves stains on everything it touches.  Plus the smell.

Ok so your POV is that you are using "moral decay", "stains", "smell", "$5000 for sanitization" and "infested" as mere metaphors against those with whom you disagree.   This interpretation of your POV is based on the figurative "stains" left from "moral decay."

Maybe, I am wrong and you literally mean that the Trumpkins are best described by: "moral decay", "stains", "smell", "$5000 for sanitization" and "infested".

I am still trying to understand your POV.  Let me know if I am getting warm.

“Our question exactly,” journalists and antifa protesters reply in unison.

Its pretty easy.  Anyone who still supports trump at this point is an IRREDEEMABLE deplorable.  There is no hope for these people.  There is no point trying to educate them or civilize them, the best that we can do is attempt to quarantine them so that they can't do anymore damage than they have already.

We are in a war for the future of our country folks.  The enemy has known that for 20 years but we are just now beginning to catch up.

Is that clear enough for you?

good point. At that price it would probably only be the cultists.

Eh. Some media folks might have been desperate to find a place close to the rally.

For $5K per night at the Jersey Shore, it should include both Snookie and J Wow.

I signed up to attend this thing but then got an email saying that I needed to register as a Republican first.

Um, no.

it would cost less to uber back to NY.

Ha.  Maybe a car service but imagine getting an Uber after that mess?
