Toll Free phone number

For years, Sprint has hosted my toll free business line.  They are getting out of the business.  I have Comcast Biz for my regular phone line, and they can assign me the same toll free number.  They seem to be expensive, however.  Can anyone please suggest a long distance company that I can call to see if they can handle my toll free number for much less?  Thank you!

Are toll-free numbers still important?  I don't think I've been charged for a long distance call in years.  Maybe that's just my Verizon plan (?)

I use https://voip.ms/. It's only a few dollars a month plus a few cents a minute. But they are a wholesaler, and you may need some telecomm expertise. I could handle it if their system looks too confusing. Let me know if you'd like me to help.

I think not many people pay toll charges, but there is something official-seeming about a toll free number. It gives a sense of legitimacy to a business, whether that makes sense or not. Maybe it's because the toll free area code doesn't divulge the business's location?

Thanks Tom - but all my business correspondence going back decades has my toll free phone number on it, so I have to keep it.

That's the best reason I've seen yet to maintain it!

@Tralfaz, I'm saying you can use voip.ms by porting your number there. I'm also saying if you need help with that, I'm available for hire. You most certainly should keep your number.
