I dunno, doesn't sound awful. There were team names like Generals. There are Commodores & Minutemen so why not? Commander-in-chief sorta stuff.
I wonder what the runner ups were? I'm sure no name would get wide acceptance. Honey Badgers? That one might!
not a fan of the name. As if football didn't already have enough military imagery. But it gives me another reason to hate the WFT, so that's good.
The "Washington Swamp Things" was looking right at them, but they missed it.
How about the Insurrectionists.
They really missed a lot of good names.
Swamp Things would have been universally praised.
The cheerleaders could dress up in red robes and white bonnets like "The Handmaids Tale."
