This is like the Gong Show, or a cross between that and Miss America. They get to say what they want to say for three minutes, they get asked a series of unrelated questions, then they leave the stage. Strange.
CC is asked about VA benefits. As the wife of a Veteran in NJ, I can tell you, Veterans services in NJ are unavailable, and yet he says you should have a member card that works at any hospital. Hah!
Jeb Bush is the only one with a steady, measured, apparently unrehearsed voice. He's the only one who seems a statesman, some stumbling, but some sensibility. If I were a Republican, hes the only one who makes any sense. I just worry about what "fixing entitlements" means to JB.
Carly Fiorina is the smartest, of course (not saying much.) Asked what the least popular action of a leader is, had a decent answer. Too much emphasis on the border. Of course, unfortunately, she's for defunding planned parenthood, as are they all. Jindal is a parakeet.
Come watch the Trump-free Republican forum, except it sounds absolutely pre-digested, rehearsed, staged, and all answering Trump's issues. He's not there, but he's there. In fact, it looks like the Candidates wrote their questions.
