Greta Thunberg at COP26 protest - Sings "You can shove the climate crisis up your arse!" and Yells, "Stop Greenwashing!" at politicians

I always thought the world would be a better place if we let the children do politics.  The adults need to get real jobs.

No good in the world could ever emerge from a corrupted mind.

Greta Thunberg sings at COP26

What, if anything, is your point.

Well, just because you asked.  My point is... I find 10 times out of 10 a child (such as Ms. Greta Thunberg) would make a better decision than a politician on almost any topic because their mind is not corrupted by greed, power and insane delusions of grandeur.

That's my point.  I thought it was pretty straight forward.  What's wrong?  You don't speak-O English?!?

And what decision do you think she, a powerless outsider from a small nation, made?

That's largely ****.  Children make great revolutionaries where the goal is the burn the house down.  However, the response to climate change is going to be hugely expensive and hugely disruptive and, I would imagine, there will be a few wars accompanying the change.  I want committed adults managing the process.

Greta Thunberg is very helpful in terms of elevating the seriousness of the problem.  And for that, we should be grateful, but actually responding to it is a different problem.

I think little Greta has to take a time-out.

I think the clueless right-wing cartoonists, commentators, and their fans need to take a "time out" from ignoring facts.

and not doing anything about climate change will be hugely expensive and hugely destructive.

Takes offense at criticism of Trump's grown children. Posts a cartoon attacking an 18 year old. Keeping it classy, mtierney.

Of course, but we need a process to transition off of fossil fuels.  We cannot, as some demand, stop using fossil fuels immediately.
