Stitched users for podcasts

I don't get notices of incoming texts or phone calls when I use it.

Have tried to check settings for both the app and the phone????

Are you talking about Stitcher? When I get a call while I'm listening to a podcast, the audio stops until the call ends, then backs up a second or two and resumes. An incoming text mutes the audio briefly. In addition, I set texts to appear on the lock screen. 

There was a recent Stitcher update -- maybe uninstall and reinstall the app?
