Saturday September 28 at SOPAC : Mariachi Flor De Toloache
I've now seen them 5 times. They're wonderful women who play a traditional Mexican style but with so much charm and wit. And the occasional led Zeppelin cover. I find them irresistible.
I suggest you get tix. I'll be there.
From NPR: https://www.npr.org/2019/05/23/724986164/first-listen-flor-de-toloache-indestructible
"Flor de Toloache stuns at the crossroads of fusion and mariachi girl magic. Whether intimately airy or ice-crackingly powerful, their intricate vocal runs and harmonic alchemy seem to defy logic with equally clever instrumental arrangements by the singers themselves."
