Reefers? I am ready to frag and trade!

Hello Maplewoodonline.  I cannot imagine I am the only one who has a coral reef in their house.  I have been running my nano 20 gallon system for two years.  Ups and downs, of course, like any other high tech hobby, but one of my tiny little frags from two years ago is way too big for my tank.  Instead of cracking off pieces to throw away, I would much rather share/swap with fellow reefers.

So I have a giant Hollywood Stunner Chalice that I can easily break several large frags from without even making a dent in it.  What do you have to trade?  Heck, if you just want to come over for a piece, that would be fine too - I hate to see $20-40 hunks go in the trash.

Most of the rest of my tank is softies - zoas leather and mushrooms, so they are not as easy to share, but if you know how, I would be happy to try.

PM me or respond here.  If you just want to swap stories of your reef, this might be a good place for that too.

Look forward to hearing from everyone.

Steven

You might have had more takers on the other kind of reefer.   cheese

I have never heard of your kind.  Good luck!

I am giving this one more shot. I find it hard to believe that I am the only reefer in Maplewood or South Orange.  If anyone is interested in some Hollywood Stunner Chalice frags, please reach out.  I am going to start breaking it apart this weekend or next.  Those frags will need a new home!  Don't let these orphans suffer a degrading and lonely death in my trash can!!!

I know this isn't popular here to mention this, but if you are on Facebook, try SOMA Swap. You may or may not get a response, but you will get an audience looking to buy or get stuff for free.

I read your post twice and I still don't know what hell you're talking about.

Think Octopus's Garden - The Beatles not Reefer Man - Cab Calloway.

Bottom line, you can't smoke it.

My best guess is he has coral growing in a fish tank and it's too big and he wants to give it to someone who wants it, and he'll trade it for something.

Bingo. I got a good laugh out of it when I figured out what was being offered!
