Although I have not used her, I searched for the old thread and found
Dr Sarah Barnes http://eleosvet.com/
My sympathies to your friend.
Elizabeth
Thank you, I have passed the information on to my friend. Such a difficult decision to make but when the correct time has come, one that I think is so much better happening in the comfort of your pet's home.
Our vet is Dr. Knight at SO Animal Hospital. I'd try her, she's wonderful.
Sorry, you're dealing with this.
I had Dr. Barns come to my home for my 18 year old cat, when she totally stopped eating and a mass was discovered in her chest, it was so sad, but Dr. Barns was wonderful, and I didn't have to stress out my misty girl by hauling her to the vet. So sorry you are going through this.
Dr. Barnes is truly an angel of a woman. Highly recommend her for this horrible situation.
I am looking for the name of the vet who makes end of life house calls. I know I've seen the name of a vet who only does this service but a search of this board did not turn up any names. This is for a friend who would like the information as she knows that time is near and would like to plan a peaceful transition for her special friend. TIA
