Those thermoses look great, but do you have any with a Hungarian accent?
For that, you need to wait for the mug years.

so rich people can buy the best spot?

So Maplewoodstock can use one spot to raise money, it sounds like.

Slippery slope. Next year it's more spots and the next year it's more and so on....

Before you know it, we won’t be able to take this free, volunteer-driven event for granted anymore.
Maplewoodstock is still looking for volunteers to help out at Maplewoodstock this weekend. So are the Elks who run the beer garden fundraiser to support Maplewoodstock. Too many of us are looking forward to Maplewoodstock without helping to keep it possible. If more of us chipped in volunteering and/or buying their merchandise, efforts like the canopy auction would not be necessary. Disclaimer: I will be working a two and a half hour shift at Maplewoodstock tomorrow. The link for their sign up genius is easy to find.

Ideally - we really wanted to do a raffle, but were unable to obtain the type of permit that would allow for this.

If it'll make you feel any better people would still complain. Thanks for organizing! The best weekend every year! Though I still would have liked it moved to the fall. Might have to dip my feet in the cooler.
We didn’t have canopies, umbrellas and ice buckets… tough it out kiddos.

Hey! Where did you get that pic of me and my friends?
Will come by for last 2 or 3 acts as usual. Wouldn't mind hearing about the mosquito and humidity situation. Looks like its gonna be quite hot even at 8 pm.
Thanks to the organizers and other volunteers! A great variety of bands.
And my compliments to whoever thought of selling water by the stage and at the top of the hill. We could stay hydrated without missing any performances.
Looking forward to Sunday. We're freezing bottles of water to fill our cooler and will drink them as they melt.
Remember Jones was great. Exactly the kind of fun, funky, dancy act that should close the shows. I don't know how people sat there for earlier acts in the sun heat and humidity. It was actually pretty comfortable in the shade by the time we got there for last 2 acts and hoping its the same tonight.
Yesterday was a tremendous success. Let's do it again. TODAY!
Music kicks off at noon. Schedule at https://maplewoodstock.com/music/
Reminder that there are a TON of food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, and a Beer Garden in the East Field. Please support these partners.

Remember Jones was great, but kudos on booking Deadtide - a totally leftfield choice but they really went for it and I had a blast watching them totally metal out up there. Sadly I'll be missing ml1 and his band on stage today as England are in the Euro 24 finals, but I'm sure they kick **** as always.
Rain break - restart 1/2 hour after last thunder clap. So right now - 2:30 at the earliest. We resume where we are in the lineup.
From my best guess - we may miss the set with Sarah Hodd and will hopefully resume with Skyfactor at 3. We will see - thanks!
How were the late acts last night? I just couldn't drag myself out for them. I was satisfied with Remember Jones. I like Holt but she's local, no? Probably easy to see.

thanks for the shout out but unfortunately Sarah Hodd + The Drive were one of the two acts canceled during the thunderstorm. :-( But you can catch us at Village Hall on July 26.
It was another great weekend of amazing artists. Thanks to everyone who worked hard for a year to make this event happen.

Tia Holt was great - a star in the making. I was kind of bored by the Daniel Donato thing - mashed together two of my least favorite types of music, ****-tonk country and jam bands - so I left, but my wife enjoyed it.

I enjoyed all of the bands in the afternoon. Tried supporting the beer garden, but couldn't hear the music. Used to love it at the top of the hill. I agree with you on Daniel Donato. I made it 1/3 of the way through.
Is **** really an automated redaction for a racial term that never bothered network TV censors in the ’70s, or is it some other kind of tonk?

Well ain’t that something.
I try to be open minded but the "country" label for the closing guy did not and does not grab me.
I remember when Norah Jones was there with her country trio. I like her solo stuff but that twangy country stuff they played left me cold.

They played with a lot of energy, and I really wanted to like them, but I swear their second song was 15 minutes long and went nowhere.

I liked them but there was a bit of musical schizophrenia going on for sure. I really like fusion music, and this was an example of that. The band's description in the Maplewoodstock program definitely set my expectations. They were all good players, and I was happy to give them the benefit of the doubt and dig the groove they sent out.
