Are there going to be any MERCH sales during June?
Typically, we sell merch on Saturday mornings in June in front of Greenway Market in downtown Maplewood. But, that is always subject to the weather.
We try to post a reminder on Friday afternoons or Saturday mornings.
Thx! I just wondered since I didn't see anything then in the SignupGenius.
We may not have put those options in our SignUpGenius Volunteer Form as (when that form went live), we were still figuring out our June sales schedules. Again: we wrote "typically" in our reply above.
Maplewoodstock will once again provide onstage interpretation in American Sign Language for the entire event -- offering access for all Deaf audience members and those who use ASL to communicate. If you need to see the sign language interpreters, please look for the "Deaf Area" signs that delineate the access area at the front right of the audience near the stage.
We thank these interpreters for their volunteerism to continue to evolve this free, two-day festival of Music and Arts, open-armed to all.
Planning (roughly) to sell t-shirts 10 AM to 2 PM in front of Greenway Market or perhaps across the street in Ricalton Square on Sat (June 8) in Maplewood Village. Get yer merch now; wear it proudly. Meet us; say hello. Support us.
Maplewoodstock offers an organized and safe way to ensure that all Maplewood and South Orange residents have a fair and equal opportunity for canopy spectator space at the festival.
Applications can be submitted between 11 AM on June 29, 2024, until 11 AM on July 6, 2024. Entries will also be available by phone and through paper submissions at our libraries. Lottery results will be announced by July 7, 2024.
Our annual festival would not be possible without several dozen volunteers who commit from an hour or so to a full weekend of on-site work. We are still looking to fill some volunteer spots.
Our neighbors at the South Orange Volunteer Rescue Squad will once again be onsite during the festival to assist with any medical needs. They will have an ambulance down near the stage. And, in an emergency, festival attendees should call 911 for the most-rapid response.
We are three weeks from today! We could use another few volunteers to help us present this free, two-day festival of and for the community. Consider volunteering via https://maplewoodstock.com/about/volunteer/
Our friends at the South Orange Elk’s Lodge # 1154 will be serving and staffing the Beer Garden -- with local brews and wines sourced from a local, female-owned distributor, Bonhomie Wine Imports. The Elk's helps support this free festival and donates their share of the sales to the local charities they support. https://www.southorangeelks.com/

Sign up to volunteer at the Beer Garden is now open to Lodge members.
Canopy Lottery update: as of this morning we are humbled to have received over 820 applications for our free spectator canopy lottery - a new record! The lottery closes Saturday, July 6 at 11AM; you can enter at maplewoodstockcanopies.com if you haven't already (only 1 entry per address please).
Lottery results will be sent no later than July 7.
There will be approximately 100 winners per day of the festival, and no one will win both days.
If you don't win a canopy spot this year, a great way to ensure a shady Maplewoodstock experience (while supporting our festival with a tax-deductible donation) is through our Ultimate Canopy Experience Auction! Please visit https://givebutter.com/c/maplewoodstock2024/auction for more info and to enter.
We are proud to present 70+ local and regional arts and crafts vendors during the weekend. Please support them with your purchases! They will all be in our Vendor Village in the East Field, and a list of them is at https://maplewoodstock.com/art/
For 2024, we will have a local artist painting during the festival, with her works being auctioned off -- the proceeds of which to support Maplewoodstock.
Helena Chywski is a Brazilian/American artist who experiences various types of Synaesthesia — a rare neurological condition where her senses intertwine, allowing her to experience sound visually and tactilely. For example, music, everyday sounds, and voices appear as shapes, intricate patterns, and colors in her mind’s eye.
The Ultimate Maplewoodstock Experience auction just got more awesome. Thanks to the folks at Evermore Spirits and General Store Shops and Cafe, in addition to the already great Ultimate prizes, winners will also receive a bottle of Vinada non-alcoholic wine and 2 cans of non-alcoholic beer from Partake Brewing.
Feel free to pool your resources with friends and family members for the winning bid.
