Not likely, since the talks were broken off. The conversations were while jury deliberations were continuing.

Really just listen to CNN or MSNBC. I am sure, if you need print media, the Washington Post and/or NYT
!!! Prosecutor says that Manafort is cooperating with special counsel investigation !!!

"This was obvious from the way this went down. Mueller got him to do ... something with that 1.5 hour delay this morning. So it's too late for Trump to avoid that testimony w/a pardon."

Paul Manafort's $46 Million Plea Deal

Plus, he's cooperating!
Peaceinourtime - Please change title to "Manafort Agrees to Cooperate" or something like that. I didn't want to start a new thread.

Will do.

"The Manafort Cooperation is Pardon Proof"
https://www.emptywheel.net/2018/09/14/the-manafort-plea-is-pardon-proof/
"Remember, back in January, Trump told friends and aides that Manafort could incriminate him (the implication was that only Manafort could). I believe Mueller needed Manafort to describe what happened in a June 7, 2016 meeting between the men, in advance of the June 9 meeting. I have long suspected there was another meeting at which Manafort may be the only other Trump aide attendee.
And Manafort has probably already provided evidence on whatever Mueller needed."
Here's my theory after following all this for months, if not years. I hope you might all suspend judgement as to the outlandishness of this possibility until we have all information. This might explain why establishment Republicans do not readily criticize Trump's shenanigans. These lawmakers, Trump and others have been avoiding taxes on their wealth by laundering it through Manafort, (the $30,000,000 Manafort has admitted to laundering with his Ukrainian oligarchic connections) underwritten by Manafort's access to US government through Trump. This way, Russia and Putin could maintain dominance in the Ukraine, as well as over Trump and the sanctions process.

With the $46 Million payment by Manafort, the title should be changed to "Mueller Investigation Turns a Profit".
Even Trump would have to admire something like that!
The full text of Manafort's plea deal. Cooperation is paragraph 8.

Judgment suspended! And by the way we LOVE outlandish on MOL!
I'm picking out my Impeachment Party ensemble.
A giant storm is chewing up the Carolinas. Major flooding, people in danger, problems likely for a long time to come.
Navigate to CNN on your phone and you have to scroll past several Mueller/Manafort links to get to Florence coverage.
I agree that the Manafort news is important, but it feels like another example of the mainstream media complicity in letting All Things Trump eclipse potentially more important stories. In this Manafort development what's really more important right now?
Sorry, I'll get off my soapbox now.
(The Manafort news barely appears on the Fox News page... the link text doesn't even mention his name. Just says "Ex-Trump Manager...")

Maybe CNN, but not

Then watch Fox, no?
I jut went to the CNN web site. The storm is the bigger of the front page stories though the Manafort thing is there.
At the moment, on Fox, the Five are giggling and trashing Obama.

That's the TV listing for "The Five": "Giggling and Trashing Obama".

Thus the title of Enid Blyton's lost mystery novel, Five Go Mad In Midtown Manhattan.

No. That was just a side note.

Not on MSNBC today. I keep it on as background and I watched so much rain that I opened my umbrella. I was aching for some other coverage, anything, a coup on some remote island. Anything but watching Ali Velshi getting pelted by the rain. If Manafort hadn't flipped I would have gone in and confessed to being a Russian spy.
Here's the soapbox back.

Yeah, I have CNN on background much of the day. The coverage is like 90% Florence.
Enough!

i'm no lawyer, but this seems like a big break. Trump's dour, cross-armed facade today was not for nothing. I think we have Humpty-Dumpty now!
