I agree its poor branding but I don't think the actual namesake did (or will do) any actual jail time.

I thought Charles Kushner founded the school, and he served jail time because he sent a prostitute to his brother-in-law and then tried to blackmail him with it. Jared will go to jail in the future I am pretty sure. It's like a mob family. You wouldn't send your kids to the John Gotti school would you? Or the Al Capone academy?

 I'm pretty sure its named after Jared's Uncle, not his Dad.   But you are right, a restaurant run by  the Dahmer Culinary Academy, might lose business even if the  Dahmer in question was Billy Dahmer.

From what I've heard of the latest Jared interview, he's a shameless and sleazy character.  

No wonder his father-in-law is so fond of him.

 Jonathon Swan of Axios did a pretty nice job of trying to pin him down on his father in laws birther claims. Kushner just kept repeating "I wasn't involved in that" and Swan kept repeating the question.

Personally, whenever I see this thread title, I think of the pedophile Jared who used to rep for Subway.  He and the Kush have somehow become linked in my mind.

Eh, I actually do not believe that many people will associate "Kushner Academy" with a guy that escaped Budapest pre-WW2.

Consider, for a moment, another institution with a dirty sounding name: Trump's Hobbies in Corvallis Oregon.

Its called Trump's Hobbies but it isn't actually named after Donald Trump.  Go figure......

I mean, I hate Dumpster and the Kush as much as the next guy but facts have that inconvenient habit of being facts.

The only way I think they will change the name is if demand goes down significantly. Otherwise, it will be Kushner for a long time.
