Faine is good for everyday ...

I think he's better than that.

;-) I miss him for every day. Not claiming Fidler's better, just saying that some occasionals have been worth grabbing an earful.

Faine and Pattison/Thomson used to frame my days (well, with Derek of an evening - back when Derek did evenings). So much has changed since then. D'you ever hear from Derek?

5 December: Day of the Ninja. D said it was great that we were both incognito, so no-one would know wwe are ninja, and so we could fight stealthily... ;-)

I said to my friend Connie, an English teacher . . .

I notice you always walk through a door first when you're with a man."
"But if you're with a woman, you let her go ahead of you."

"Of course," she smiled. "I before he, except after she."

I bump into Derek from time to time. (You know he's retired from working for Aunty?)

He now does MC-ing, corporate work, etc. We caught up with him last ANZAC Day at Melbourne's Shrine of Remembrance, for the launch of his book, "The Promise" http://derekguille.com.au/book/

Yep, I heard his last broadcast!!! :-D Memorable. (I miss hearing Boris)

Yeah, and so am I - albeit at the same rate you are oh oh

I've learned that I age at a second a second.

I learnt that a) you can keep me talking well past the stage of knowing I'm tired and b) I can feel much older than I actually am, as a result the next day.
