I suppose I should withhold comment until the story ages for a bit

Patriots owner Robert Kraft arrested in Florida prostitution sting

The comments are entertaining.

Karma for that Trump loving piece of crap. And of course Florida. And of course a crusty old fogey who still thinks he’s got it. Next.,.

I think this might be a two-for with another of Trump's cabinet appointees.

Then there's also a Fox doc...

https://www.thedailybeast.com/ex-fox-news-quack-doctor-keith-ablow-accused-of-sexually-exploiting-patients?ref=home

A former member of Fox News’ “Medical A-Team” was reportedly sued by three female patients within the past year claiming he lured them into sexual relationships that degraded the women through beatings and bondage. One woman even got a tattoo featuring the doctor’s initials so that he could claim “ownership” of her.

It looks like he made a very bad choice on an extremely bad day. The place was busted in connection with a sting operation to try to break up a larger sex trafficking ring. It sounds like he happened to be there on the day they moved in for the arrests.

It's no big secret that a lot of the women in those Asian massage places are forced into prostitution. They pay money get help immigrating to the states, and when they get here their passports are taken from them and they are forced to live and work where they are told. Some of them end up as sex workers. And they end up having to work until they paid off whatever they owe to the criminals who helped them immigrate.

Not to be grossly pragmatic, but you would think someone worth 6 billion dollars would be smart enough to not put himself in a risky position by going to such a place. He could argue he was just going for a regular massage, but with his kind of money you can get a professional massage therapist at your home or place of business or whatever, or go to a high end private spa.

And I thought the show I've been watching, The Handmaid's Tale, was outlandish.

The comments on the article are entertaining.

On a sad note, a few more late night T.V. script writers were laid off - the material in the newspapers at no cost really puts script writers at a disadvantage.

Obviously the saddest thing about this unseemly turn of events is not sex trafficking or the exploitation of women, but the reinforcement of long held beliefs that all rich, old white men crave illicit sexual gratification coupled with an unhealthy need to ‘get they swerve on’ as well as a propensity for fathering children out of wedlock. Unfortunately, this will just feed into the ostracization of rich old white men in general.      What an idiot.

I see what you did there.

Not as happy an ending as the Superbowl for Mr Kraft

You took the words right out of mia boca.

His spokesman denies the charges even though the police say there is video evidence, it being a sting.

Maybe he'll use the fake news video mantra.

 Long held beliefs?

I always thought that was true

Kraft is going to blame his behavior on the cumulative effect of concussions.

Let me repeat my mantra.

Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty

Its easy. Didn't any of youse see the movie about Qusay's body double? Well, same thing here. The Deep State was informed about the raid. They found a body double to go into the building, just when the raid was sta... Aw, nuts to yiz. You libtards wouldn't believe me anyway

he may not be guilty of a crime.  But he does appear to be guilty of appearing on video at a brothel.

Are there good days to solicit prostitution?

the days when the cops don't bust in and arrest everybody

Yeah what ml1 said.

I'm not condoning his actions, but from what I read he got caught up in a sting that wasn't about him.  So he made a bad choice on a particularly bad day.

I live around 30 minutes south of Gillette Stadium where Pats/Brady are a religion. Expecting crickets in response to this mess.

But let’s not rush to judgment:

“He has denied it,” Trump told reporters

I only wish it was Brady.

I said it.

That assumes this was a one-time or very infrequent occurrence for Kraft.

I am sure that this was the first time Mr Kraft ever decided to visit such an establishment. Such rotten luck!

Its like speeding.

You can easily exceed the speed limit a hundred times but then you're caught. But officer, I have a clean record, I never sped before.

If he's married, it would behoove his wife to get tested.

 not it doesn't.

billions of $ and he gets his sex from a massage parlor in a strip mall. That’s the “true” crime here.

If it could bring some attention to the issue of sex trafficking and how pervasive it is it would be helpful. But I doubt the media will focus on anything but the spaciousness and the spectacle of a big public figure being humiliated.

At the end of this, he'll still be a billionaire with perhaps a misdemeanor charge on his record. As much as he'll try to avoid conviction, I doubt very much he'll suffer any significant consequences from this incident even if the charge sticks.

Yeah, conandrob240, all that money and he goes for the most disadvantaged and exploited kind of sex worker. Pretty gross.
