I need an inkjet printer maven

OK, so my printer nozzle check kept on showing streaks in the black ink, and I was getting streaks when I printed a page. Numerous print head cleanings did not resolve the issue, so I went out and bought  some print head cleaning solution and tried a deep clean of the black print head.

Now, ALL of my print heads are clogged.  A print nozzle check hardly prints anything and if I try to print a page it's 90% blank.

I can't figure out what happened. Any ideas out there?

It's an Epson WF-2760.

lol, I give up. The 2020 gremlins are having one last laugh on me.

I have a second printer that I haven't used in a while, that also is just printing blank pages now. Print nozzle check prints ok (more or less) but when I print from an app, I get zip.

We're having a similar problem with our Brother color inkjet/3-in-1 (also fax/scan) machine.  I'm waiting for an order of replacement ink to come before I can continue trying to "clean" it.  (Every time I ran the cleaning cycle, I got a few more 'pixels' but it did use up a good bit of ink.)  Fortunately we also have a black & white laserjet we can use and the scanner function on the Brother works fine.

I finally had to abandon my Epson after hours of diagnostics and many cleaning protocols.  Now we have an HP color laser jet and are much happier.

Yeah, I was ready to abandon one of them, but not both. Thought about a color laser...

ETA -  what model do you have?

We replaced the ever-clogged Epson with an HP color laser jet pro Mfp M477fdw (according to a Staples invoice).  It may well cost more per page (I’ve never done the calculations).  But with everyone doing work/school from home, I just need to have something that gives no hassles. Got it for under $500, in mid 2018, and remain pleased with it.

I just ordered a color laserjet HP M255dw, which was hard to find as it recently got high ratings in some online reviews. One of its pluses was "low cost of ownership" so we'll see how that works out.

I didn't go an all-in-one  as I figured the old scanner still works and I can us that for scanning.

I had similar problems with my color ink jet printer.  I believe the  cause was long periods of non-use,  Every time I needed it, it failed.  Replaced with a BW laser printer and am very happy now.

One of the printers that died I used regularly, so that's not it. The other, maybe.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and got a color laser, which was just delivered. A new toy to play with!

We use ours relatively often and I was using it the day before and it was just fine.  I went to print a document with blue print that had printed fine the day before and when I printed it again, it came out pink.  I believe that the cyan nozzle is clogged but I used up a more-than-half-full load of color ink running the built-in utility on the printer and each time it improved slightly, but not enough.  I found some YouTube videos that talk about how to clean these, but I'm not really up to that.  Wondering if there is someone or some service that makes housecalls for this sort of thing.

Yeah, that's what I tried to do (cleaning the print heads manually). That's what killed one of the printers. After I did the cleaning - of only one print head - none of the heads printed right.

Cosmic alert!  My printer just mysteriously stopped printing recently and I haven't been able to get it going again.

I think you're familiar with it -- an HP ENVY color printer/scanner/copier.  I've had it a long time and have generally been very happy with it.  But it's got plenty of ink, ran several diagnostics that didn't identify anything.  Even unplugged it, waited 60 seconds and plugged it back in -- usually the "go to" solution for any problem - 20 years ago anyway .......

But I'm mystified.  It may have something to do with a web connection that's getting in the way.  Maybe I can give you a call tomorrow or Friday and we can talk about it.

Thank-ey.
