Furry Hearts needs help trapping stray and feral cats for a special spy/neuter program on Wednesday.
Right, but what does that mean in term of the actions and activities required of volunteers?
Or should we infer that if we have to ask the question, we aren't qualified? I know that may sound snarky but I really have no idea what's involved.

If you have outside feral cats in Maplewood that you are feeding, the cats need to be spayed/neutered. Please contact Lisa to arrange for her (Lisa) to trap the cats so they can be spayed/neutered/released back to caregiver. Lisa's (Furry Hearts Rescue) phone number is: (973) 763-6842.
There are many things volunteers can do for FHR with trapping.
They need people who can house the cats in crates for a few days while they recover from surgery. This requires feeding and monitoring the cats while they recover in a warm safe place. Once they recover, they are returned from where they came from.
Also Volunteers willing to transport kitties to and from the vets for spaying and neutering.
Volunteers who are willing to take small feral kittens to foster until the kittens are old enough for adoption are needed as kitten season is underway.
If you are unable to do any hands-on volunteer work, you can simply LIKE Furry Hearts Rescue on Face book, and share the adoptable animals that are posted there. Or you can consider making a donation to help support the great work they are doing for the community.
