Wishing you a successful surgery and the quickest possible complete recovery.
I just cracked open a Guinness on your behalf. Speedy recovery.

Tuesday, July 8th
Forecast is on track, unfortunately. Today presents multiple issues:
1) Heat Advisory. Warm temps, likely in the low 90⁰s, coupled with a wet tropical airmass left behind by the remnants of Chantel, means heat index near or above 100⁰ today
2) Flood Watch. Showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening could couple with that same wet airmass to cause isolated to scattered torrential downpours. Where downpours occur, storms could drop 1-2 inches of rain in an hour, leading to minor to moderate flooding, most likely in those places already known to be prone to flooding
3) There is a slight chance of severe thunderstorms (+/- 10%) which could add damaging winds to the mix
Any individual storm today could be small in diameter, making accurate prediction of where exactly the heavy rain could fall difficult
Instability is likely to continue through Wednesday and Thursday with showers and thunderstorms possible both days. Temps should be a bit cooler, but still quite humid
Friday and the weekend look a little better, though the stalled cold front, if it continues to hang around, could mean afternoon showers or a thunderstorm each day is possible. Highs this weekend look to be in the more reasonable 80⁰s with a bit less humidity for Maplewoodstock
I'm having knee surgery tomorrow so posting may be a little erratic over the next week or so
