I'm trying to help a friend of mine who has recently gone back to work and had her childcare (actually child transportation) arrangements fall through. I'm not posting a "help wanted" ad (which I know isn't allowed here), but just wondering about ways to connect online with potential candidates. I know that I've always heard that people get sitters from Seton Hall, but how do you "advertise" for them? Does the school have a bulletin board (physical or online) for that or is it all by word of mouth? She is in the SOMA Facebook groups (SWAP/ISO/Parenting/etc.) but I'm wondering about other forums for this sort of thing.
