Energy company phone scam
Yeah that’s normal behavior for someone trying to earn your business. Can you share the number? I’m sure we’re all going to jump on that offer.

Stupid and unproductive because they call you from a different number every time, but block and report the number. I just answered a call a few minutes ago, "Hello" in my best British screechy voice (which is not very good) and they hung up on me immediately.

The problem is that they usually spoof a real number. If you return the call - it may be someone completely unaware that their phone number is being used.
