Anyone have a recommendation for a company that does dryer vent cleaning? Thank you
Not sure if there's an MOL sponsor but I've used this company and they were very thorough and reasonable...
I've used The Dryer Guys as well (several times) and have always been happy with their work. They were on time, worked quickly and thoroughly and did an excellent job cleaning up after they were finished. I'm happy to recommend them, too.

We need someone as well— THANKS!
Have you used them for repairs to a gas dryer?
I haven't had any problems with the current dryer that needed repair, so I can't say anything about their expertise in that area. Sorry!

Same as cody, we didn't need them for that, but if they offer that service, I have no doubt they'd do a great job.
Vent cleaning is relatively simple (can be difficult if the washer & dryer are installed in a niche). It is basically a DIY job (buy a rotating brush with shaft extensions for use on an electric drill at Home Depot).
Repairs are an entirely different story. It is my understanding that not much can go wrong, but I would refer to an appliance repair service.
It’s cheaper to just replace the 4 inch duct. Home Depot sells the kit or you can buy the duct separately. The hardest part is getting the dryer out so you can get behind there.

You also need to make sure to clean out inside the dryer itself. Quite a lot can build up in there.
