Doggy day care
If PPC is not convenient Puppy Love won't be either. They are just a few blocks apart. And there is quite a bit more room to play at PPC. (Puppy Love is a lovely place for grooming and some play time beforehand though.)
There's a place set up like Preferred Pets. It's called The Barker Lounge in Roselle. Haven't used so can't give feedback

Good luck, Ms Sumida! I was there when it first opened, my dog and I took a tour. It was wonderful. They have recently opened a new building which I have not yet seen. Please report back 
You might look into http://dogvacay.com/ . There may be someone near your home, work or on the way if your dog doesn't mind car travel. We tried this for an overnight after doing a meet & greet first, and it worked well. Cost was much less than Preferred Pet, who we also love.

I am looking for anotherr doggy day care besides Preferred Pets, which I really like but is out of the way for me in West Orange. My business is in Mountainside, and its a bit out of the way for that as well.
I don't like indoor doggy day cares because my puppy gets confused when it comes to housebreaking after being in an indoor facility.
has anyone used the one on 22 in Springfield, i think it is called Paw Pad
