Did the Cowboys win yesterday?

Does anyone know? Did Romo throw any amazing passes? Did DeMarco Murray have a good day? I'm hoping he rushed for more than 100 yards. And did Dez Bryant make any brilliant catches?

They barely beat a crappy team at home and needed overtime to do it. Plus, the Texans maybe had more fans at the game than the Cowboys.

Do you mean that game?

I heard the Big Blue Star shown brightly! All kidding aside, it seems like everyone gets excited when the Cowboys win. Do you sense that?

What the Knicks are to basketball, the Cowboys are to football. When the Boys and their bright blue stars are winning, it's a good thing for the sport.

Indeed. Both are run by their cities' respective village idiots.

This is what they want!

Now wait a minute - a win is a win. I don't know too much about the Texans but I'm sure they're a top flight team full of championship level competitors.

Does anyone know how many games they won last year?

That's just hurtful AND inaccurate. Jerry isn't an idiot - he's a whoremonger.

PSST. Hate having to break this to you, but in this part of the NFL East teritory, Jerry's team is not exactly winning any popularity contests.

It's only Week 6, there's still lots of time left for Tony Romo to do what he does best, i.e. throw season-crushing interceptions.

but an idiot would pose for pictures with his lady friends.

Hmm. If all this is true -- why is everyone so excited about the Cowboys? Is it because they are FOOT-BIG BALLS-PLAYERS?

When you say "everyone"... is that like when you say "Europeans" when you really mean the Spanish guy you buy coffee from in the morning? You know, the delusional exaggerations you're prone to?

I'm just trying to understand the scope here. It's been well documented that the Cowboys are actually America's least favorite (i.e. most disliked) team - so again, who's this "everyone"?

And as I recall the Cowboys went 8-8 last season... and possibly the season before... though to be fair, they got their garbage wins late and not early. I guess we'll see what happens! Personally, I'd be thrilled to have them in the playoffs this year - nothing would make the playoffs more entertaining.

For example: when I wear my Cowboys cap downtown, everyone greets me warmly and enthusiastically.

Cowboys are now No. 6 in the ESPN power rankings. Ahead of SF, New England and Indianapolis. Yup.

Dez Bryant jersey is #1 sellar among all wideouts.

I am getting a Cowboy blue star tattoo on my leg on Saturday.

I rode the downtown E train with a guy wearing Romo jersey today.

That slams the lid on that one.

oh my.

Fans of most teams (even the good ones) generally don't start gloating less than a third of the way through a season.

I think in Seattle they call Romo the 13th Man.

around here, Giants fans love Romo even when he doesn't throw an interception:

To be honest, I expect Dallas to score on the Seahawks defense this week. Problem will be the Cowboys' defense stopping Seattle's offense. I'm thinking something like a respectable 34-27 Seahawks.

there's a lot of that going around. I also expect the Giants-Eagles game to be high scoring. both teams should go over 30 points.

I've got Eli, Andre Williams and Maclin on my fantasy team this week, so I hope so. oh oh

Let's take this one at a time... and I hope this doesn't result in more "finger" photos or yet another unfortunate rage-fueled banning:

1. Everyone? Really? I refer you to my earlier post cheese
2. That's awesome - even though its very early in the season. Did they get that ranking in part because of their dominating performance against the 2013 2-12 Texans?
3. I'm not familiar with European spelling conventions but I suspect that what you're saying is that the Dez Bryant jersey is the #1 selling item among all wideouts? Awesome again - it really makes up for his hissy fits and smacking his mother around a few years ago. A true Cowboy spirit!
4. No, you're not.
5. Was it just one guy? Are you sure it wasn't "everyone" wearing a Romo jersey?
6. No, it doesn't.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/07/17/dez-bryant-accused-of-grabbing-his-mom-by-the-hair-and-hitting-her/

Police in DeSoto, Texas, said today that Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant grabbed his mother’s hair and hit her before he was arrested and charged with misdemeanor family violence.

“It’s pretty straightforward,” DeSoto Police Captain Ron Smith said, via the Star-Telegram. “He and his mom got in an argument. It’s physical. She got some injuries. We made the arrest.”

No obnoxious Cowboy fan has posted yet? Amazing.

Case knows 1 + 1 = 2. That's cute.

Actually, that's not my photo - I just reposted it.

Is last night the beginning of the end for the Cowpokes?

Best thing I heard today was , last nights score. Cowboy band wagon broke a major spoke last night.

Is Jerry Jones getting a honorary Doctorate for his accessment of the xrays of Romo's back and his ability to play ?
