Clinton School Play (Surprise!)

How ridiculously awesome is this?

This year's Broadway-themed play had 357 kids participating (yes, that's a "3" in the hundreds column) across K-5, dozens and dozens of parents directing, set-building, makeup-applying, costume-sewing, ticket-selling, glossy-program-printing (80-something pages, no less), tech- sound- and lighting-coordinating (though all of that was run by the 5th graders in production, no less)... what an incredible community. (Special shout-out to ctrzwife in her last year of directing the whole shebang).

But the surprise of the evening was the intro... how cool is this??

That was amazing. Frasier!!!

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unreal. Very inspiring to the kids. Plus, Tony Danza!

Best flying monkeys ever

My parents went to see the show on Friday, and once again, were blown away by the production, and this introduction.

I saw it the last show on Saturday, and was tearing up at the introduction/goodbye by ctrzwife, and the director parents' song at the beginning. It was all just so amazing.
