PS , the chicken was not thrilled to see me and charged at me!! Right on the road!!
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Because she thought it was safe to do so, now that the s-curves are straighter.

I totally saw a large chicken in the reservation today!! I know there's a Facebook thread devoted to her but I'm not on FB so I thought I'd mention it here-PS , the chicken was not thrilled to see me and charged at me!! Right on the road!! If anyone is missing a chicken from their outdoor coop, she's alive and well in the reservation!
You're lucky to be alive. That chicken probably had chicks somewhere and was defending them.

Wow, who knew you could pick up chicks in the reservation?
the occasional chickenhawk?
Perhaps she used to be one of the reservation's turkeys. I for one applaud this bird's brave decision to live her best life as a chicken, and celebrate our community's commitment to diversity and inclusiveness. #yougogirl

Species reassignment - the latest trend. My large tuxedo cat, for example, identifies as a bob cat so I had his tail amputated. Looks not bad actually and the cat feels much better about himself. Getting read of the cancerous lesion on his tail was a plus as well.
