Cats on the newspaper
Very cute cat. I have an all white cat as well. He's my recent avatar.
Athena is an unusual cat. There is nothing elegant or delicate about her; she is very much 'in your face'. Any time she sees me, she rolls over on her back and waves her paws at me = Come Here. Pet Me. NOW!
On the weekend we still get a physical paper, which Darcy claims first.

You could easily be describing our Athena [a cowcat]
And tonight it is the Tazmanian Devil.
He is not as fat as Athena, so he can fit on the keyboard.
Mine gets locked in the bathroom every morning so's I can read the damn thing in peace.
One of my favorite memories is of L... She would be reading the paper with a bowl of cereal between her and the paper. She never put much energy into keeping the cat off the table... anyways, I'm watching and a paw goes under the paper and into the cereal bowl.
