Cancelling a gym membership?

I'm interested in cancelling my gym membership at Can Do in Short Hills. I've been a member for years so of course my contract is probably long misplaced, but has anyone had any issues doing this? Is it easier for me to go in person or should I plan to send a certified letter? Any advice?

I would just call them on the phone and ask what you need to do. Be aware in advance that every gym always seems to charge one month's membership fee when you cancel.

Don't you get to continue to use their services (if you wish) during that period?
