I used www.dataworksnyc.com to convert a number of 20+ years old VCR tapes to DVD. They charge $20/tape. They are right by Port Authority so if you commute in to NYC, its pretty easy to drop off and pick up.
I have a DVD player/recorder that is supposed to be able to upconvert from VHS to DVD, but I have never tried it. It was a Sony, and not terribly expensive. Perhaps they are still on the market?
Will do. Thankey, Nancy!

BTW: Here's a shot of Dar with the Clintons at a fundraiser in the Hamptons. Wonder what she's thinking...

I have a VHS tape of Dar Williams' July 10, 1996 concert on Flood's Hill (broadcast after the fact by Cablevision) which I'd like to convert to DVD, and present a copy to Dar when she appears at SOPAC 12/17.
Does anybody have the capability (any more) to do this???
Thanks for all suggestions!
