I strongly recommend the Sherwin Williams store on Springfield Ave, or Ricciardi (Benjamin Moore). The staff at both places are knowledgeable about what you need.
The fan is the best remedy but make sure you get good paint.
Id like to add a suggestion. I put timer switches on all of my bath fans. When we finish a shower we can leave the fan on for a while to clear the moisture out and it shuts off on its' own.
you probably won’t have peeling paint problems once you have and use vent fans.
“Normal” ceiling paint will be fine as long as you use the best “gripper” primer first. And of course remove any trace of loose or alligatored paint.

We're doing some renovations on our bathroom. Right now the ceilings are peeling. We are putting in fans but what do you think is the best kind of paint for a moist room?
