Anybody use Accounting Temp Agencies?

Now that my kids are in school, I am finding that I have a bit more free time than I would possibly like. I have worked for the past 12 years as a freelance bookkeeper, but due to the economy, many of my clients have either cut back or gone out of business completely, so I am not working that much anymore. I thought I might be interested in becoming a temp, but have no idea how to do it and what to expect. My degree is in Accounting, but my CPA license was in Florida and lapsed about 14 years ago. I am also a CFP, but that license too, has lapsed, although only about 3 years ago. Ideally I would like to do either some bookkeeping or staff acoounting work either part time, or on projects of a couple weeks duration. I am not ready to commit to a full time job. Does anyone know if there are any temp agencies out there that specialize in moms who want to work, but have not worked in an office for a long time, and what I should expect?
