Reflections of Vietnam Wednesday, April 11 7:00 pm Main Library Reflections of Vietnam is presented by two best friends who graduated from South Plainfield High School 1965. Paul Fusco and Joseph Belardo tell their stor, that of two young New Jersey boys stationed in Vietnam in 1967 and 1968. They give a true account and a one-on-one exposure to the Vietnam War. This presentation is eye opening, heartwarming and sometimes emotional. The talk lands you in southern Vietnam and brings you up to the Central highlands and north to the Demilitarized Zone. It walks you through the Tet Offensive and takes you to the famous battle of Khe Sanh before bringing you home to New Jersey. Reflections covers the living conditions, everyday life in a combat zone, battles, loss of friends, coming home, Agent Orange, PTSD and the reality of war. Military memorabilia and artifacts will be on display.
