Art & Music Reception for Senior Studio
Saturday, August 25 3 pm at Main Library
SeniorStudio is a private non-profit organization that provides an innovative approach to senior learning through its quality arts education programs for independent seniors.
Students participate in eight weeks of studio art painting classes that follow a formal curriculum specially designed for seniors that provides defined creative and cognitive benefits, particularly for those without any painting experience.
The students’ final art project are acrylic landscape paintings with themes created by each student.
The program is sponsorsed in Maplewood by the Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs
Live music will be provided by Nick Straus and Bill Tally.
