American Theater Group, a professional member of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance, is SOPAC’s theatre company in-residence. Headed by Producing Artistic Director James Vagias, the theatre company presents staged readings of new work in the SOPAC Loft and will produce fully-staged productions on the SOPAC mainstage beginning next season. LEVITY - When it’s discovered that Connie, a one time rock goddess turned recluse, has spent the last thirty years ghostwriting her ex-husband’s hit records, the fate of the music and its fortune are suddenly up for grabs. Now, four strangers are forced to figure out whose legacy to salvage and how not to sacrifice themselves in the process.
